In the heart of the picturesque Maroochy Bushland Botanical Gardens, you will find Compass’s Garden Café. Established in 2017, Garden Café offers a range of light snacks and sweet treats, including homemade delights and a variety of coffees and teas.
Like the Compass Connections Cafés, Garden Café was founded as part of a vision to provide meaningful vocational opportunities for people with disabilities looking for real-world café and hospitality experience. Garden Café has provided support for over 45 Trainees to date through the development of real-world skills across food preparation, cooking, coffee making, customer service and money handling. For our Trainees, being able to learn these skills and serve their community every day is a dream come true!
Garden Cafe is open from Monday-Friday from 9:30am – 2:30pm
Garden Café also has something extra special about it – we have integrated a select range of beautiful hand-crafted items from our boutique retail store, Wabi Sabi Creations. You will find jewellery, pottery, chopping boards, hampers and much more, all made by our very own Trainees from across our Compass campuses.
Stop by and surround yourself with greenery and some heart-felt smiles and conversations, while you enjoy a coffee and a treat – and maybe even a little something special to bring home to a loved one!
